Our 100th Day Celebration

We are 100 days smarter....

Each student had the opportunity to bring 100 items to "share" with the class.  I was really impressed with their clever ideas.  We had band-aids, black-eyed peas, fruit loops, pennies, stickers, beads (plastic & wooden), candy, pretzels, candy hearts, cheez-its, and Legos......they had a great time sharing their clever ideas!

I found a really cute (& invigorating) 100 day activity.....(this was our PE time - since it has been SO COLD, and we have been forced to stay indoors).....we (well...not ME!) jumped for 100 seconds.  I can't help but laugh when I think of these fun 100 seconds!
(I'm sad...I can't get my video to load....I'm not giving up.)

We made predictions:

If we took 100 steps....where would we end up?

.....We took SEVEN HUNDRED steps.....
our steps took us from our classroom to the office and back to the classroom.
We walked (almost) silently the entire way!

Writing if their predictions were correct or not....

I LOVE MY FIRST GRADERS!

After a CRAZY fun day - they were tuckered out!
