We incorporated a lot of fun activities while learning about 3D shapes!
Learning should include some fun....right?
While learning the different shapes, we made a 3D booklet. This booklet was used throughout the week to assist them in the other activities we completed.
and then....
they had to guess the 3D shape by touch.....
it was my goal that each student would know their shapes by attributes.
I think real world applications are the best....so, we went on a scavenger hunt.
After our scavenger hunt my students drew "real" pictures using only the shapes we had been learning about: my students are SO creative. I love them so much!
